Planning & Zoning develops short- and long-term plans for land use, transportation, demographics, economic development, community facilities, utilities, environment, and recreation. The department administers zoning, signage, subdivision, watershed, and floodplain ordinances and maintains the Town's GIS.

Application forms — zoning permits, sign permits, subdivision review, watershed and floodplain review — are maintained in the Forms & Documents library and are best started after a brief pre-application call with staff.
